Disclaimer: I do not own Microsoft Office 2013.
NOTE: This is just a concept, and not an actual theme. Made through photoshop.
I missed having the somewhat transparent titlebar on my office, so I did some designing here and there. I used the original color for PowerPoint 2013 (Orange) just because, and I find it nice.
I'll try to make one for Excel that matches this one. Hopefully someday Microsoft allows us to modify the theme to something other than white, light gray, or dark gray... coz the theme selection feels dead.

I like your concepts. Unfortunately I do not think Microsoft will give the users the option to adopt the skins. Most people do not use the new features of a new Office version, because the latest versions fulfill all their needs already. So for most people the only thing what makes a new version "new" is the branding, which consists of the special colour themes. Microsoft uses this "branding" to suggest innovation.
Even in the past Microsoft did not allow to create themes. For Windows XP their were only a hand full official themes. Everything else worked only by hacking a dll file. Maybe some finds a way to hack the corresponding file and we get the freedom to design our own office.
